What is Geocaching? Geocaching is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasures using GPS technology and sharing the geocache's existence and location online. The Connecticut Geological and Natural History Survey of the Department of Environmental Protection created a series of EarthCache sites to promote an understanding of the geological and biological wealth of the State of Connecticut.
