Saturday, August 21, 2010 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Each August, the park celebrates the discovery of the tracks in Rocky Hill with a special one-day event. Outdoor activities include animal programs, crafts, games, music, and entertainers. All are free because of the sponsorship of the FDPA. Visit our last celebration.

Make a craft:  A craft area will be open on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Meet the park’s animals.

Track Talks. A staff member will answer questions about the tracks and discuss what Connecticut was like in the early Jurassic period.

 

Mining Sluice - Weather permitting, the sluice is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. during school vacation weeks and on the weekends.
